Important pair of Japanese patinated bronze vases urns from the Meïji period (1868 -1912) . Beautiful classic patina of Japanese bronzes throughout weathered bronze beautifully time-worn, with warm brown , shimmers of golden hues and red reflections . Bulbous baluster body form decorated with birds and foliate branches motif of cherry trees and chrysanthemums . Narrow neck with flared rim, dressed with a pair of decorative handles with dragon head motifs raised upon a tiered cylindrical foot. This is a fascinating pair of antique decorative urns, with appealing Japanese taste and great patination.
In good antique condition , shows mark of restoration to the handles and to one of the foot , some minor friction and classic patina wear.
