Rare Antique French Porcelain Sedan Chair – Rococo Style, 18th/19th Century
An exceptional and հազrare antique French porcelain sedan chair, beautifully modeled and richly decorated in the elegant Rococo style.
This charming piece is crafted in the form of a traditional sedan chair, featuring finely hand-painted figural and countryside scenes. The Rococo influence is evident throughout, with ornate raised scrollwork, decorative cornice flourishes, a central crest, and striking pink-fuchsia glaze accents. Delicate hand-painted floral bouquets further enhance its decorative appeal.
The underside bears a blue double sword mark along with an impressed number “64,” offering intriguing possibilities for further attribution.

Condition:
Good antique condition overall. There is a small line crack on the bottom and some expected wear/loss to the gilding consistent with age.
